Your absolutely right about everything, bro. I just don't see the point of putting one on the fresh air tube from the CAI to the valve cover but if you wanna go overkill on it then by all means
This again means the you're only fixing half of the problem..... When the throttle plate os open and both vents are at equal pressure, the exhaust side CC vent will still be allowing the vapor to enter the intake tube. Just keep the hoses routed to their original locations but put a separator on each line, that way you know both are being cleaned 100% of the time.

this is what we are running, billet, and the bottom unscrews to empty

Corey that is pretty nice, but in a previous post... I put mine together for less than 40 bucks... that can has gotta run somewhere around 100.. they both do the same thing.. one just comes with a pussy magnet attached :)

I cant wait to do this, I've been thinkin about doing this since I put my PTB on in the summer and seen the streak of oil in my CAI tube. Always wondered how the intake looked :) 1 more week untill my can is here :D

if anyone dosnt live by a harbor freight I dont mind putting together a system for you and mailing it out.. cost of parts and shipping plus a 5-er and its yours!

What's up with your silicone intake tube coupler that mounts to your throttle body? That might be another possible leaking point.

leaks are sealed, went and tested everything today before driving it around, its as airtight as a chick with 3 cocks in her.

I've tested that in the past, there's no leaks coming from there.. that was something that I kind of just whipped up with a pipe i had laying in the garage, I'm working on that.. we call it the "******* tube" because thats pretty much what it is. I'm trying to come up with a system that will delete the airbox and also still allow me to run my "ram air" lines from the air scoops in the front bumper.. I spent a lot of the summer just trying to tinker around and come up with a few things, now with my new job I'll have the money to finish a lot of stuff that's been "temporary" for a few months.

I wouldn't trust it... make a PVC intake tube since it's cheap and doesn't have all the fittings on it like the autozone intakes. Paint it with a black wrinkle finish paint cause that would look clean.

That's whats in the works my friend along with another little bit of crazyness.

once I get the info I need I'll be making a new thread about the intake system entirely.

Got an email this morning from a guy out in cali who wants to make aluminum intake manifolds.. got really irritated about how dirty that composite one was.. want to see what he's got to offer.

That Steeda filter looks like the one on my air compressor. keeps oil out of the air line. :yup:

shit okay I'll sell mine for 75 bucks a piece, price match summit.. and it comes with TWO filters! now that's a deal!

I got mine from Home Depot or Lowe's. cant remember of hand when i installed my Air Comp.

Hey I wasn't saying for anyone to order it just showing it as an example. It was easier to link than save pic and upload.
