I mean, do I take it to my usual mechanic, a random tire shop, or do I try to find some type of "performance" shop??

And before you say it, No, I cannot do it myself.

I just want to drop it a small amount to kill some of the space between the wheel and fender, not bag it or slam it.

any mechanic should be able to do it. the only special tools he would need are a 3/8" hex for the brakes and a pickle fork for the balljoints. other than that, maybe a spring compressor.

no i read them all just offering my 2 cents its cake i was scared to try it first to but the guys on this board gave me the confidence to do it and i am glad that i didnt get raped by a shop to drop my truck!
