what are the specs on the v8?
Vortec 5.3L V8 Engine

Standard on Sport and available on Extended and Crew Cab Z85 and Z71, the Vortec 5.3L V8 engine generates 300 hp @ 5200 rpm and 320 lb.-ft. of torque @ 4000 rpm.

GM Show truck? I'm guessing they're prepping it for SEMA.

I'm wondering if it's just the GM corporate trailer queens out since the ZQ8s weren't supposed to be out till mid-model year.

Yeah, but that's the sticker price. Have you ever paid sticker? I haven't :lol:

Mine was $30K but I paid $23.9K.

True, they won't be discounting them that much just yet. But I'm not ready for another truck yet either :D
