My truck:
2007 GMC Canyon SLT Off Road, 3.7.....
The issue is whether I'm in park, or drive at 1000-1500 RPM the truck vibrates, fairly hard. Its vibrating hard enough that I can hear the nerf bars rattling outside the truck while driving or parked, whatever. It doesnt bother me much until stop and go traffic, then it drives me literally insane. On cold starts in the morning(When its idling faster than usual) the steering wheel vibrates...
This is not a misfire or anything like that, its just a vibration, and happens everytime the truck is between 1000-1500 RPM, no where else, no other speeds, nothing.
So when I'm crusing about 45 mpg in 4th, it shakes. When I push the gas in at park, it shakes.
So Yesterday, I read a few threads on cleaning the TB solving idling issues, vibrations, whatever. So I tried it.
Process:
Removing neg bat cable
Remove tubes off air box
Removed MAF Sensor, and barely sprayed a little MAF Cleaner on it.
Removed (I'm guessing its a resonator box? it seems like a silencer, has a crankcase or head vent hose, I dont know) from the top.
Got to the TB, removed the wiring harness NP.
Could NOT get the little fuel line(I think) removed. The grey little pin would not let me press the bottom clips in to remove it. I tried long enough until I thought I was going to break it.
The TB was dirty, and I cleaned it as best I could with TB Cleaner, careful not to overspray it as I was cleaning it under the hood with the fuel line attached.
reinstalled everything. And replaced the AIR Filter.
Started it back up...Absolutely no difference what-so-ever. Did I not clean the TB good enough? Is there any ports or jets to spray TB cleaner in that I could have missed possibly? Or Did I not clean the MAF sensor good enough?
This truck engine is bone stock, and at around 85200 miles.
Any other suggestions? ( thanks in advance )
