Mine was doing the exact same thing for about 3 days as well... I attempted to start my truck this morning, and all lights went out (cluster and all), took the key out of the ignition and everything came back (this was repetitive)... had to tighten up the negative battery terminal connection... haven't had the problem since... not sure if these are related or not but it's what mine did

peanutbuttersports,

I am sorry you are experiencing this issue with your vehicle. This may be due to an internal fault in the BCM. This is just a suggestion, not a diagnosis. I recommend consulting with a certified technician for an official diagnosis.

MOST LIKELY... your door was Ajar when you hit the lock / unlock button.

There is a way to change the settings very easily. It's in your owners manual.

Just out of memory, it's something along the lines of put key into ignition, then hold the odometer reset button for 5 seconds, then turning key on to accessory, and release odometer reset button.

it will enter into a setting mode on your Indicator panel. then something like tapping or holding the odometer reset button toggles options.

Or maybe it's hold it for 15 seconds after putting ignition to On....

Try it out !

Edit...
I was close. Look here: Pg 198 / 199
