If you go 32s your wheel will be kinda small because those tires are 11.50 inches wide. And 3s1 will be almost like stock 265/75.

I have 32s and they rub at full lock.

 

Not every tire that is 32" in diameter is 11.5" wide...I run 265/75R16 which works out to about 32x10.5". I can make them rub at full lock if I hit a huge bump wheeling...but higher offset wheels would fix that for me easily.

i have a gap on the back of the truck between the bed and the frame, i still have to cover that up! other than that.. all good!

 

And where are you getting a rim that's only 5.5" wide? I thought stock Z85 rims were 6.5" wide and stock Z71 rims 7" wide. A 10.5" wide tire will sit on a 6.5" rim but I think optimal width is higher than that...5.5" might be pushing it unless you go with a smaller narrower tire. These are 265/75R16 on an 8.5" wide wheel.

 

I don't know if 32 will go on 5.5 wide. That's narrow and the tire will bulge out..

ive got the ls ext cab which are stock 15x5.5 rims. was gonna get a 15x8. vakeromx how many/much gap fillers did you have to use???

 

i got the 3" PA body lift.

i still have to get the gap guards! that will cover the 3" gap

Here's my truck with 32x11.50's. They rub at full lock.

I'm going back with a 31x10.50 when these tires wear out. I got better gas mileage(atleast 3mpg more) and no rub with the 31's.

 

what lift you got. what gas mileage u gots?

265/70/17's rub at full lock. i could use a little more lift to clear them a little better, but im only runnin 2".

You want a rim at least 7" wide to safely run 32 X 11.50 tires. I got a set of good used Z71 rims for sale, 15 X 7"

i dont think i saw what kind of truck you have as far as suspension. nor did i see a lift setup listed. those will help us determine if a 32 or a 31 will work better on your truck.

i had 32's on my truck but they were to small for my setup. maxed TB's skyjacker 2.5 aal and a 3" body lift totalin 7" of lift.

so on a crank and shackels 32x11.50x15 on a 15x8 rim would be ideal.

 

I'm worried. Ordered 265/70's for my 9" wide wheels...will it work?

 

i got 265 65 17 with no lift on z85 with rub on swaybar at lock.

 

Are those stock Z71 wheels with the crome cover taken off ????
