I have air shocks for the back for sale. They work fine with a 4" block, helped from not slapping axle. $50 plus shipping.

 

what kind are they, part number? there adjustable so you can lift it and lower it?

 

monroe air shocks just do the part number for a 98 chevy s10 ls pickup thats whats on the back of mine.

mine i painted black to match the rest of my truck but they come white

 

and you can put anywhere from 25- 125 psi in them .. i run mine about 130psi . cause ive had them at 175psi before nad they never popped. so yeah.

MA762 is for a cutlass/monte carlo. i dunno what the mounting of those look like they might be different.

i am runnin air shocks to myself off of a 98 s10 mine came black but one thing i noticed it that i the collaspe is to long i run mine at about 25psi and i had to put a 3/4 spacer under the shock perch cause i would bottom them out now when i am runnin more pressure there fine but i only run more pressure if i haul something which isnt offten but i love em they work great i can put some picks up if ya want i also mounted my air stem in the bumper cant see it but its easy access

ok so i read up a little bit and THE WOLF said youve gotta change out the sleeves to fit with the ma762.... hope this isnt a dumb question but whats a sleeve on a air shock?

 

ohh. im thinking those are totally different style of airshocks he uses.

the sleeve is the airbag on the shock.

Ya, They used to run air shocks on 80's mazda and mitsubishi trucks and air them up at gas stations haha.

 

i had my front suspension done at wicked kustoms and i remember when i was there he had a frame he had built one of his first project a toyota on air shocks , it was cool from and rear air shocks about three inches lift up front maybe 6 out back but enough to roll thats old school

They reason I got them was so I'd stop slapping axle. They also worked great when I pulled a trailer.

I wouldn't necessarily recommend them, but they work. It all just depends on what you are looking for

 

i just got mine for when i have a load i still got 3 inchs before i hit the axle... imo it rides smoother than say a drop shock..

 

they work great!! ive got the beltech leaf springs so i used to slap frame all the time and now i hardly ever slap my frame

 

and i used the same ones "the wolf" uses i found some on craigslist 1 was brand new and 1 was barely used and got them for 50 bucks

well the problem is that i am dropped, so I have 1" of play, and i was trying to find another route for the problem, it rides fine on the hwy, but different story in city. i am not too hot about c-notching, don't want to remove the bed, guess i can try without removing it.
