Long story short guys, I found a brand new transmission (for $350!) in Bossier City a few weeks ago for my truck, bought it and had it installed when I got a clutch job I needed done. So now I still have my old AR-5 sitting in my truck bed, it has about 161k miles, still worked great when I got it dropped and I highly doubt that any junkyard will take it due to it's mileage and age.

So I figured I'd check here first before I decide to deep 6 it, because I'm also very leery of shipping this thing anywhere. I figure the shipping will not be cheap, so yea I'm just gonna let someone come get it if they want it.

Sadly, I'm not interested in driving out of state (save maybe anyone within reasonable distance in the ArkLaMiss area, like maybe Jackson, MS) to meet up face to face to any perspective takers. Regardless, perhaps we can agree to meet halfway at a mutual point of a destination to do the deal. So yea, Louisiana 355'ers only please, unless you're willing to meet me halfway somewhere in Louisiana I'd say.

Thanks!

Ahhh damn I completely forgot all about this... *facepalm*

Lock this sucker up, I had no takers so I ended up giving the tranny back to the transmission place some months ago. Maybe someone will want to do a AR-5 swap for a old Toyota Supra or have a manual transmission 355 truck that needs it, meh, no longer my concern. If anyone is still looking for it, Transmission Specialists of West Monroe, LA has it in their inventory, give them a call up there and ask for Joey.(the younger one I believe, ha!)
