Chevy Colorado Z71 2008 Exhaust Upgrade: Seeking Flowmaster Muffler Advice

I have a 2008 Chevy Colorado Z71 Rear wheel drive.
I want to put a different exhaust on with a Lil noise or rumble. My muffler now is 26 inches long but I think Flomaster only goes to 22 inches.
Could I just buy a 4 inch pipe extention?
Looking for any help or ideas.
