09 3.7 built one month after the recall list ends. Heard it humming after a mysterious dead battery this morning. Just got a cel as well. Pretty sure its the fpcm but wouldnt mind a few opinions chiming in. Thanks

The source of power, and control of, the fuel pump is the FPCM. Your assumption could be correct. Have you physically looked at the FPCM to see if the case has been damaged. It is located in a relatively open area and you don't exactly live in the best environment for vehicles. If the case cracks, the electronics inside won't last long. Remove and check the connector for corrosion.

There are other things that could possibly keep the pump operating, but you would probably see other indications, such as cluster lights, messages, etc.

Amazon sells the FPCM, 20759945, for about $82. If you need it now, a Dealer will part with one for about $168.

The brake lights were working one day and not the next so i took it to the dealership and they said that they were just bad so i replaced them they worked for a day and stopped again so i took it back and told them to fix it properly. The mechanic called me and said it just needed some electircal grease and that they were working now and that the fuse was blown which caused the a/c, 4x4 push buttons and cluser panel dimmer light all to stop working which i kinda felt like he was full of poop but he has his job and i operate heavy equip so lol ....

Nice to know mine shouldn't have that issue. It was built 10 days after the recall began.
