i lowered my truck with 4inch blocks wit the helper bags and i got wheel hop like a bitch wen i step on it. it shakes the shit out of the truck. can i use these?
any help?

I picked up a set tonight! Was kinda expensive at the autozone over here...$29.99. Anyways i'm running 3" blocks (soon to be 3.5" once I install the .5" blocks) and helpers and I'm gunna install these on top and see if they help out at all or not!

Installed these yesterday on top of the leafs and it was SUPER easy. Measured the truck before the install and afterwards and I got about 1/2 drop from them.

I work at a tire shop in Edmonton,Alberta. If the shimmy is in your steering wheel, and begins shaking above 25 mph or so, and balancing is not helping, either the tires are worn out, cupping, or the cords could be separating...if its tires. Just a thought!

Wheel hop in these trucks refers to the rear wheels hopping up and down under sudden acceleration from a stop when wheelspin occurs. I've heard that helper springs make a really nice difference, as most of the hop happens because our rear suspensions are fairly soft in these trucks.

I didn't get any drop from my traction springs.....which are differant then helper springs...but being able to launch is nice!

i have the helper bags from summit... can i still install this?? u think it will clear top or do i have to put on bottom??

Well the Hellwig traction spring mount on the forward part of the leaf springs, so there is no reason why they should not work for you!

crazy question here guys... i got the spacer up front to help with the lean right. but lets just say cuz everybody is saying it can lower or raise ur back abit right? so wat if i can put it on one side either lift it or lower watever side u prefer. like my passenger bedside is one or two fingers higher the the driver i think. would this be a solution?????????????????????????
this question is for everybody...

now more specific for me. wat about if i got the helpers would it fit with all the bags and other shit in the way??

I had Bad wheel hop with the factory size tires but a diff. brand firestone fire hawk 5000. 2557015 and real bad wheel hop. Got lakewood traction bars and it was gone completly, check out youtube/wheelchairdude94 in the bright pic you can see the lakewoods. Then i went to my next set of tires whitch was a 265/60/18 and no wheel hop at all with them. I plan on going to the strip in Maryland the 1&2 aug and will put traction bars back on to get the 15s back on to tyr the new power with the 15s & the 18s with the traction bars on. Get back to you with the results latter

so, im probly going to give this a shot on monday... might as well waste 30$ before i spend hundreds on legit trac bars.... does it still help if youve got a bit more power than normal running to your tires?? i started with 249 hp stock (2008 3.7 i5) and now im at roughly 290.... ;]

Unless you have a tune I call complete bullshit lol.
