Glad all is working well now.
Would have been interesting to see if a reboot would have done anything, you know, disconnect the battery for a little while, reconnect, give it a try.
Amazing how a reboot sometimes can chase away all kinds of boogers that can drive you bananas if you try to remedy them one by one.
I knew of a guy several years ago that His motorcycle would not run, just turn over and over. He hauled it to a shop and left it with them. Couple of hours later, one of the older mechanics tried it, same thing. He turned the front forks to one side, reached in and grabbed the wiring harness and gave it a tug - push - pull, again and again up and down the harness. After a couple of minutes of that He flipped the switch, hit the starter, and it fired right up. He rolled it over into the corner. Two days later, they called the guy, said the bike was ready, and the bill was $800.00. Dude paid up, and rode away.
The repair took only a couple of minutes, but it took them two days to come up with the B.S. to write up the ticket!
Reasons like this and many others is why I like to work on my own stuff when I can.
Or at least take a stab at it...
