Locate and Replace the ECT sensor on Canyon

Where is the ECT sensor (engine coolant temp sensor) is located on 2006 GMC Canyon 3.5L (4x4)

I did a search on the site and I didn't find anything.

Also, how hard it is to replace, any steps please?

its on the back passenger side of the motor. you'll see a plug on the top of the valve cover and just follow that wire down and you'll see it.
i dont know if a stubby wrench will get it, but a 15mm deep with a side cut out will get at it.
you will need to drain out some coolant, or you could get a mess.
