yes it did engage corectly.i was driving at a regular speed on a contry road here and sudently it lost, desengage the Over drive.i left the feet on the trottle and push it back and the over drive re engaged .

i heard about a fact that a problem on the second catalytic converter, the one near the transmission could affect the transmission shifting when the cat become ,,,,a clogged catalyst it become so hot and it is near the transmission it will effect the gouvernor ???

have you heard of that???

my engine is running good, spark plug are GM and new,my truck is well maintain in order.

Are you sure this is not a case of it just needs to shift because the load condition as changed?

If you are convinced it is shifting by itself with no apparent reason I'd suggest finding a reputable transmission shop so they can do a test drive. Something internally may be beginning to fail.

I'm the furthest from a transmission expert, but if a transmission shifts on it's own I'm pretty sure there is a problem.

If you have been driving the truck for a long time and you feel this is sudden and unusual then you probably know something is wrong/different.

well, also the transmission oil is new .i dont have any code reported.
it is bizarre.

now i would need some picture of how they connect an oil cooler on the line?
some have suggest me to install one ,1 or 2 times a year i am hauling some wood stove so it may getting hot a bit but we are not in Arizona here ,,,,

thanks
