Hey guys, so I plan on cutting my bumper up some more. I want to cut it so there is no plastic and just the steel bumper showing, like Rancho's Colorado. I'm actually building a mount for my winch like there's, I'm basically copying their design. Here's a pic.

So my question is if I cut the bumper up will I have any problems with airflow, maybe to the radiator. I know our factory skid plates have the scoop to direct air towards the radiator.

Also are their any vital components I should have shielded running this design. I can see a lot of rocks getting thrown up in their without the protection of the bumper. I might just have to design a big skid plate for the front.

No more mud than normal I don't think.

Cut it so there is only metal showing, I know the whole plastic bumper comes off but those clips are a pain to get undone, I just plan on taking my grinder to it. That's how I took off the lower part of the bumper (the air dam?).
With the bumper right off the truck I was able to get the valence off with some pliers pretty easy. Broke all the clips though.
