Some people use small zip ties in place of the clips . If I needed any I would head to a PullAPart for them . I would think other GM vehicles beside the Colorado use the same clips so hunt around .

 

Check local hardware store for them. Definitely more reasonably priced.

 

Dorman makes replacement retainers, can't remember the aftermarket # but they exist. I have a stash of plastic and metal retainers after working for a gm dealer, I still use zip ties when they break. Especially the grille 2 pc retainers.

I did consider small zip-ties, but only 2 of the locations had a hole thru the top and bottom for the zip-tie to pass thru. I will have to really search thru dormans site for those clips.

 

I have found absolutely nothing anywheres but from GM. I decided to go the zip-tie route, I will need to drill a few holes, but I would much rather do that than spend 8$ on a single factory clip!!!!

 

Was just quoted $11 and change each for the 6th fan shroud clips for 2011 Chevy Colorado work truck 2.9 l 4 cylinder. Ouch!
