If you came, I'd make an exception. But otherwise, I wasn't planning on it. That show is more of a minitrucker scene and I wasn't really feeling it this year. It's convienient cause it's 40 mins away, but I deffinatly wouldn't drive 6-8 hrs for it! hahaha

I was waiting till this Dayton meet got closer to make a decision. Money's gonna be tight after graduation/vacation, but if this meet is gonna be big, we might have to stretch our pockets a bit!

my thing is because of the bed cover, if I get a shaved tail,gate I can never strap the cover shut to be locked

I know I've seen a few people say about those covers, that you don't NEED to strap the cover shut, the weight of it holds it down just fine. I know Rudy has never had his cover fly up on him....

If anything, just drive around for the next week before this meet without your cover strapped down and see if it ever fly's up on you. If it doesn't, then you should be safe in having a shaved handle. Provided the work is good on the gate, this just seems like way too good of a deal to pass up!
