Never tried one on my truck...but it should in theory...lol.

I would get a friend to pull back on the rear of the door, then try a hanger in there...Do you have sliding rear? you can use your credit card there...its easy to get in that way...just push it against the damn lock and if you do it hard enough you will pop it out enough to open the window.

Sorry man, just looked and seen you have a solid rear window..and I have no idea what teh inside looks liek on a non power door lock....

Tip for the future...get a spare at wal-mart, and duct tape it somewhere on the truck. When I used to do this I hid mine on top of the tranny cm. After over a year like this, I finally ended up useing it one time...it was still there...but now I have a new trick...lol. A switch that pops the door open. Located on my truck where no one would ever be able to find it!

Well, how about reaching all teh way across to the opposite door to pull the handle? Just trowin out mabies here man...hope you get in...

i have a slider rear and have had no luck with being able to push the clasp out enough to open it.

i could use a coathanger then to get the keys out of the ignition no problem.

scared to push too hard. you cant replace just the center section of the slider, its all or nothing.

they will fuck up your paint trying to remove the slider to so i dont know what to do.

maybe take the vin to the dealer for a copy to be made?

Unless that door unlocks when you pull the handle open, then its a lost cause with the hanger. Anyway, just do the back window...it will work...Before on your other pics it shows a solid rear window...didnt realize you installed a slider..

nah man...ok, heres what you do....

Put pressure, not a shit load but pressure on that back window..the center piece, now insert a credit card..if your window is new try a small screw driver that is bent. anyway, push it against the lock..it will push out just enough to be able to open the window!! I have done this myself at least five times...

Probably unlikely, but if you haven't hit 3 years 36k you still got free road side assistance (1-800-268-6800)

I locked them in once but I was still under 36 so they sent a guy out and he used a hanger but i got power locks so thats prob no help to you....but id figure if a slim jim was easier he prob would have used that instead.

If you didn't get it yet, heres what you do (from experiance). Grab the corner of your belt molding on the drivers door, you should be able to get your fingers in there enough to get some leverage and wiggle it up. The belt molding should come right off. Just be carefull that you don't bend it near the mirror, you will have to slide it out from under the mirror. Once you get that off there is a huge gap looking down inside your door. You should be able to just use a scredriver to push the lock rod and unlock your door. If you do wreck the belt molding, its probably a lot cheaper than a new window or a locksmith. Hope you get it unlocked.

If you look down inside the door, you will see the rod hooked up to the outside key cylinder. It needs to be pushed down to unlock the door, if it won't push down, you will have to unclip it from the cylinder and then push it down. You will probably have to use some long needle nose or something to push it down. I don't remember exactly how I did it but it did work.
This saved my ass last night. Thank you. It took about 45 minutes with a long kitchen knife to unclip the rod from the outside door lock arm. Once I did that, I pushed the rod down with a long screwdriver and the door unlocked. I live on an island so no dealer/locksmith option for me without spending $$$. Now I have to open the door to re attach the rod o_O

ok...having troubble still.

the belt moulding is off and in tact. i see how the handle rod does its thing and its useless for what im trying to do.

the lock rod has now been pushed on (no unlock) and pulled on with a coat hanger(no unlock). im pushing and pulling on the end where it connects to the handle.

i dont see how it connects to the lock mech. at the side of the door cause theres the channel for the window travel in the way.

am i suposed to be trying to push the rod at the mechanisim or the handle end?

and tried the credit card on the slider again. the seal is too tight to get the card to bend 90 deg.

see, i get that thats a fall back solution and what may happen, but im really wanting to figure this out.

i know how the lock shit works on the inside now and from previous experience installing a pass side door lock.

i really want to figure this out.

its like, if i could just get a grip on the lock rod to move it i might get it.

and this problem presented itself last night late when i was drunk and not thinking straight. this morning is the first real crack ive taken at the doors.

i guess im not frustrated now so much as perplexed by how om not able to unlock the door, even tho ive gained access to the inside of the door.

<<<<<definatly not good at being a crook.
