Ok, as many of you guys know, I will be turboing my 3.5 inline 5. I've been collecting parts since about mid January now and am ready for this thing to finally go in! Only problem is time. Hoping to have it fully in within a few weeks give or take depending on when me and Austin's (07_zq8) schedule works out. As Austin is helping me throughout most of this project.
Project vehicle: 2006 Chevy Colorado
Engine: 3.5L Inline 5
Miles : 55,xxx
Turbo: Super T70
So far, we have the 80# fuel injectors installed. We had a small hiccup in the process of getting them tuned right away as my first o2 sensor was causing it to stutter because the end of it was so black (prob from running too rich). When we put the wideband o2 sensor in place of it, it fixed the problem so now that's all cleared up.
I have some of the intake pipe mocked up, and I will be getting it welded. Over spring break I plan to install the intercooler, do the rest of the piping, and get the oil connections ready. Maybe more if time allows.
Now on to the pictars!!
wideband...and yes Mike, it is accurate
wideband relay for tuning
will be putting in all synthetic oil
more updates to come!
