If the belltech set will fit on a ZQ8 then i will invest for a set for sure...all i would have to do is cut the factory brackets off the rear axle rite...

Yeah the front is a direct fit and the rear you need to cut the factory mounts.

anyone know about putting one on the rear of a z85? they dont come stock so whats it going to take to install one?

yeah but idk if i've even got any mounts under there. damn this snow i dont feel like looking... i'll use the gfs garage next time i'm over there and take a peek.

belltechs site says it will fit a z85....so i'm assuming i'm set there. but the front says "only for vehicles with coil spring suspension" are the front sway bars diff on a torsion bar truck? they dont look it...

i cant imagine why you lifted guys want swaybars. for the road?

back when i always hit the desert, i left my front bar off. and didnt have a rear.

i'm ditching my lift, so thats why for me.

well since i cant get a a/m bar for the front that'll save me a few bucks lol. maybe i can get new bushings for it though?

^bump for that same question. i'm know i can get bushings for the front but what size are they? i'm seeing 15/16" and 7/8"

Your post is timely lkout because I'm going to replace my stock rubber bushings with a greaseable set from Energy Suspension in a low budget (< $20 upgrade). I just measured the front sway bar on my 2007 Canyon WT Z85 and it measured out at 15/16", not the 1 1/8 noted at the top of this post.

Here's what I'm ordering: Energy Suspension 9.5160 Universal - Greaseable Sway Bar Bushings 15/16 in / 24mm

thanks for the size post. let us know how those work out! im debating just a regular set of poly bushings.

Update on the size of my Z85 front bushings: 1 1/16" (I misread the caliper - they are not 15/16"). So based on the OP it looks like there are at least two different Z85 bar diameters - 1 1/8" and 1 1/16". Measure carefully!

I might be really, really stupid for asking this, but is there any kind of sway bar that provides extra lift? i have 2in shackles so im gonna get a sway bar, just wanted to know if it can get me any higher?
