that is how mine used to be.

 

I just did a cut out with my new SS grille, I didn't have any clips for it so I drilled a lot of holes to make sure it was really secure..

 

the clips werent shit, i had to readjust mine every once in a while cause they would slide.

 

he's got a canyon fellas!! i cut out my oem canyon grill.. the SS insert is plenty sturdy by itself.. But you can easily see the radiator behind the grille, which is kinda annoying IMO

 

I zip tied the hell out of it for now, I'm gonna put screws in it eventually I just didn't have them at the time. It got bent in shipping and Ron (the wolf) had to straigten out for me so lining it up was a bitch...

Cool thanks guys, Thats what I thought but when I got the grill it showes it being installed over the oem one and I don't like the look of the. Just wanted to make sure it would work before I cut out the grill.

sorry to hijack, but do they make one for the xtreme grille? can't say that I've ever seen a SS grille on an xtreme.

 

i guess if you remove the surround inserts you could fit one :shrug:
i haven't seen on the extremes either

Nope, sold them to WTRacing and he painted them black.

 

yeah, I was wondering if they made one that was smaller so I could keep the chrome U-thingy and have the SS insert also
