Got a street scenes grill and it shows it going over the stock grill but I don't like that you can still see the oem one behind the new grill, Does anyone know if the SS grill will be to flimsy if I just cut out the oem grill?

he's got a canyon fellas!! i cut out my oem canyon grill.. the SS insert is plenty sturdy by itself.. But you can easily see the radiator behind the grille, which is kinda annoying IMO
I zip tied the hell out of it for now, I'm gonna put screws in it eventually I just didn't have them at the time. It got bent in shipping and Ron (the wolf) had to straigten out for me so lining it up was a bitch...
Cool thanks guys, Thats what I thought but when I got the grill it showes it being installed over the oem one and I don't like the look of the. Just wanted to make sure it would work before I cut out the grill.
:gd: it is so clean  i wanna see a muddy pic of your truck....
yeah that is what i thought! chrome inserts get on the way. u still have the chrome inserts? :naughty:
yeah, I was wondering if they made one that was smaller so I could keep the chrome U-thingy and have the SS insert also
