just got my wheels and tires on this week, painted my hubs black, took off mud flaps, and put on a k&n cold air intake. first real mods i guess. now i'm looking to lift. but i'd like to keep the 31s til they are shot. any suggestions on what would look the best?

if your a Z71 or 4x4 Z85 get some torsion bar keys and either a shackle or add-a-leaf like moz said. then there is also a performance accessories 3" body lift or a suspension maxx 1.5" body lift. and then if you have the money rough country, rancho, or skyjakcer 4" suspension lift for about $1,600 or CST 5" lift for $2,000.

then im not sure what is all available for 2wd Z85's

Man with the stock tires just do a shackle lift and crank your torsioin bars. There are some ebay shackles for 44 shipped that I am running gave me 1.5" in the back and are pretty dang solid. Crank your torsion bars after that and you should have a good stance. Also you could install some monroe MA764 air shocks for a good 1-2" in the back as well thats how mines setup now and rides better than stock with 60psi in them they run about 60-75 auto parts store or ebay.

I think you will not like the look of the tires with a 3" bl and cranking the bars. I didn't like the way mine looked on 31" tires and I was only 2" crank and shackles.
