I am new on here. I have a 2006 Chevy Colorado Z71. I was considering putting suicide doors on before I paint it. I guess my question is does anybody on here have a Colorado with a suicide door kit on it? Is it complicated to install? I like to consider myself mechanically inclined so I do have some understanding. Or did not worth doing at all. Thanks for any info advice or otherwise I appreciate it

there is no suicide door kit.
You make everything, weld it, fabricate it, make it work.
Mechanically inclined is one thing, but you asking this question tells me you arent able to do this one.
There are kits available but nothing that is bolt on. It involve welding in pre-fabbed hinge pockets and latches. Here is a kit made by ThorBros formerly known as SuicideDoors.com. It's probably one of the best kits on the market and they've been making them for decades now.
