also, while i was at the alignment shop, this chevy pulled up, greaser owned it, fully restored (64 i think he said) on bags, lays frame, but he keeps drag blocks under it so it doesnt tear things to shreds.

yo XJdesertfox, is your truck a Z85? it looks sexy as hell. did you just add two spacers up front? and you can run 31" with no rubbing at all? I am debating whether I should get a fabtech kit or spacers kit to give my truck a 3" lift. I am pretty attempted to go with the fabtech but after seen your pics I dont know anymore..lol..how much did you end up paying for these spacers? what did you do with the rear to level out with the front.

 

I have a Z85 and plan on going this route (just need to keep scraping pennies)..Much cheaper that the fabtech kit..Couple of companies are doing them now for the Colorados specifically...Check out the Suspension Maxx threads...or e-mail these guys ssrindustries@gmail.com

 

yea he has a z85. no rubbing issues. i think at one point he mounted a set of 33s also. i would go with this option over the fabtech.

 

hey desertfox did you get the other kit from adam also? or did you just put the coil spacers in and call it a day??

2.4" and it was like $60 for the spacers, and then whatever it was for adamb's kit

plus an alignment.

its enough lift that my truck is higher in the front, it you want it level get the smaller 2" lift ones

 

i need to find a way to get .5-1in in the front of my z85 suspention.

thats too much lift.

any ideas?

im already running a 1in pearch spacer on one side for the lean....

 

Suspesion Maxx is goin to offer coil spacers that are 2" and shims that are like .25" each...maybe contact them and see what the shims would cost...:shrug:

Yo XJdesert, So I am about to place an order on the tacoma spacers and got confused by which one to order. Ford, Chevy, Toyota, and Nissan Leveling Kits should i get "0509TACOMA 065" or "parts 020". They all look like the ones you posted. About the rear, what you suggest? shackles? or aal? or I haev to do both.
