Im not familar with that? Hows that done? Someone told me that the Z85 have a flair at the bottom of the front bumbper that might catch but should just be popped off from it ?

 

should be the same size as the stock 265's and 10.5 is pretty narrow i dont think it would rub

 

Even with my lift I had rubbing issues but after they cranked my T/B 1 1/2" they don't rub anymore

 

with 31"s??

 

33"s I had the dealer do it, sometimes you'll need a front end alignment. My dad is service Manager at a chevy dealer.

 

Ok awsome thanks. I appriacte the Help. Also I dint know if anybody on here ever hauled a bike in the back of thier bed, I head that the tail gate can dent of not done right laying the tire on? I have a 07 yamah R6 and I m hauling wondering if thats going to be an issue on the tail gate?

i hauled my bike in my excab, but their beds are long, never put one in the crew cab, and now that i have a tool box nothing bigger than a pocket rocket will fit. there is a how to on here i think, only takes a ratchet and socket, can't remember the exact size, i bought one strictly for that though, i think its a 1 1/16". the bolts are located on a crossmember directly under your front seats on the frame,

 

do those 31's pr 33's kill any kind of gas mileage or doesnt it relly matter?

 

I gain on the highway and lose in the city. it evens out.

 

ya, if you move them more than like one total rotation you need a front end alignment. i need to get mine aligned sometime soon but i have more stuff to do on the front end before i can

 

evil, what size are your stock tires, the 31s should be very close to the size of them. the 33s kinda suck a lil on mileage and on power. i used to get 22mpg highway and now get about 18, you should see very little if any diff with 31s

 

on the highway you have less revolutions to turn the wheel, in the city you lose that, stopping and going uses more gas.

 

yes you have less revolutions, but on a bigger, heavier tire that takes more power to push

 

well the problem was i just traded in my car for the tuck the dealer i used to work for gave me a great deal exepct it has small used up tires on it 235-75 15 i belive and they look tiny on that 4x4

 

someone prolly just downgraded, im not positive if the z85 4x4s came with 265's stock, i know the z71's do cuz thats what i have, but ur at the same height so they should be the size of the tires that came on the truck, if they are mud terrains maybe just a lil bit bigger

 

No z85's have a 235 on them it's what came one my truck too i got 31's minor rubbing at full lock on the sway bar and sometimes on the bumper while flexing, got torsion keys for mine but you can just crank the bars a little and it'll be fine

 

i was thinking they were higher, my plain 2wd had 235s from the factory

 

I put 31's on my 4x4 z85, no rubbing at all. I have since cranked the torsion bars and added SM shackles though.

yea even with my fender flares if I'm going down a stone road you can't put your arm on the door with your window down cause you get hit with the rocks and it HURTS.

 

haha before i had flares i watched a few hit my mirror and got hit in the chin with one while wheeling after the chin incident i decided i needed flares and my inspection was coming up so i was need them either way

 

evil, sometimes there are guys on here selling them, prolly be cheapest that way.

 

i don't really drive on rocky roads, but when i floor the bitch in the mud, my rear tires stick out prolly 1.5" outside the flares, i sling mud up and over and about 50-75ft in front of the truck, looks wild

 

I repainted the truck when my tires stuck out too bad i never got the pics off my old phone I clogged the car wash drain to haha
