I just wanted to let everyone know about this trail ride. It is in Nelson County at the Oak Ridge Estate outside of Lovingston Va, south of Charlottesville. It is Wheelin' 4 hope, the proceeds go to the American Cancer Society. I went a couple of years ago in a jeep, but this year I am going to try out the Colorado. It is a great time. There are bypasses around the hard stuff. A stock Land Rover Discovery was in the group I was in, so stock vehicles can make it. There website is wheelin4hope.com. The trail ride is April 27 and 28. There is primitive camping on site. Oak Ridge estates is private property that hosts events a couple of times a year. There are a limited number of spots open. I hope to see a few Colorados and Canyons out there.

I'm only like 3-4 hours from charlottesville if i remember correctly on the weekends when i'm in wv. Depending on what's going on that weekend i'd be down to wheel for a good cause. It says theres 44 tickets available. I'ma attempt to wait til the last minute but would like to attend. Just gotta make sure i can.

I think they may have a waiting list if someone needs to back out of going. You can try to get on that. I belong to the rvarockcrawlers.com, a off road club out of Richmond and there was a guy trying to get rid of his ticket for wheelin 4 hope. I think he has already gotten rid of it but I can ask and make sure if you want it.
