I did searched here, although the posts I found were for other engine sizes, model years and even the 4x4 options, mine is a 2009 Single cab 4 cil 2.9 RWD, so I wanted to make sure to ask for the correct PN for MY truck, but thanks for replying.

 

If it’s a RWD the part # is GM GENUINE 24208576. I believe 4x4 is different

IMO this question has been asked and answered differently so many times that the only way I would be comfortable knowing that I have the right part number is to take the VIN number to, or call, a dealer and ask them. That approach has never failed me over the years.

 

Yes, I did saw that, I apologize for asking again, I did approached my local Chevrolet dealer, but I live in Mexico, and since Colorado back then was not very popular here, they were not very helpful, so I was going to purchase the parts at AutoZone, so what I will do now is take the pan out, take a taxi and go to AutoZone to avoid more headaches. Anyway, thanks for the reply!

 

AutoZone is usually good about unopened returns. You could buy both filter & gaskets, then return the one you don't use.
