great forum, thanks for the info, I keep trying to shim my washer nozzles, the fan spray is horrible and always below the wiper blades, this has been driving me crazy, I have tried shimming it up a bit, but my shims keeps moving or I lose it in the winter when I need it most.

I am looking for a more permanent solution to getting my aim right before winter this time, I cant believe GM has not fixed this, works great at 70 mph plus, but below it sucks. Wondering if anyone else has found a solution or has anyone used the Dorman universal, part 47137, https://www.dormanproducts.com/p-11594-47137.aspx it looks like it might be more pointable and adjustable.

maybe the pump is on its way out and doesn't build enough pressure if both squirters do the same thing. If it's just one that's acting up then it's probably not the pump but the washer nozzle itself, if you have access to compressed air then remove the washer line and blow into the nozzle from the top of the hood and try unclogging it. Most of the time this happens to me there is a piece of sand or dirt in the nozzle

My 07 used to be like that - would just dump a bunch of fluid right low on the windshield. Better at highway speeds, but pretty lousy overall. The cowl was getting warped so I replaced it this last summer and GM seems to have fixed the nozzles - they now provide a nice even spray across the windshield. A new cowl might be your best bet.
