try a black bar billet grill, black shorty antenna and i know you dont really care for em but some ss mirrors and i think that would do it. all that with your new hood would be awsome... i say do it....NOW

 

I might try the ss mirrors again (maybe for a month) :shrug: . how about a black chrome ss grille? I really don't like billet grilles that much. as for the lights it was photoshoped on the wrong picture. I fixed it though.

Yeah on the bull bar. I'm going to do a black grille they call it black chrome though. Next week it will be done. Does the hood come with bolts? I just had the hood sent there.

if the grill is going to be black id say paint or powder coat the plate black too

Liking it, however my tastes are leaning toward one with no inner horizontal bar that the lights bolt to. Anyone seen one like this?

SC... my hood was a frieght damaged hood and on the drivers corner the skin actually seperated from the frame of the hood. it was not east to fix. if your bodyshop guy wants your truck there to fit that hood it must have got wacked pretty good, how much is he charging you to fix it and paint it?

also do you know if they plan to clear coat the underside, if not id ask em too.

he's fixing it for free. He's charging me $100 to paint it. I'm not sure if he's going to clear coat the under side but I'll ask him.

 

there was 6 hours of body work on my hood to fix it. plus the paint at $65 a pint....i would have come out way cheaper buying a undamaged hood, what i saved on the hood i spent at the body shop.

i paid $200 for the hood and $600 for the paint and body work. i also got my intake painted and ss mirrors but most of the extra was for the body work on the fucked up hood. all in all it worked out well, Ray does nice work.

for $100 you need to kiss his ass on the way out....what a deal.

 

Yeah he's giving me a hell of a deal. Him and my dad go way back. So we give each other deals. He said it would take him about two hours to fix the damage. I'm really glad that I know him. If I didn't I wouldnt be able to get all this stuff for my truck.

 

I like the look of the bullbar on the truck. Btw...they make a plate relocator kit that they sell for the front plate.
