Zerks would be commonly known as a grease fitting. Where you hook the end of your grease gun on to refill it. Whenever possible go for the Zerks!!

haha I like that, AND DID THAT!, but I'm not sure how it fits into bushings because I see some parts that say zerk fittings and others that don't but they both have the nipple on the bottom. I'm confused why it would say zerk if it didn't have one.

how often are you supposed to use the grease for the bushing on the zerk?

 

Whenever the bushings become audible or if you think they need more. It's up to you. Routine maintenance.

On my older vehicles, I'd have the grease added every oil change....Hence the term oil change and lube job. "Lube" or lubricate the front end, typically you would have fittings or zerks on the upper and lower ball joints, idler arm and tie rod ends. Now they are sealed units, which makes easier maintenance, but I think parts then need to be replaced more often.

 

for you do greaseless cause you failed to search the word lol im going to all greasable joints

 

When I had my truck I would grease them every oil change unless I forgot lol
