why do you need a spacer?


and how ever much you want them to stick out is how big of a spacer you would need..

well u cant run the stock rims with the lift...doesnt have enough backspacing...so he wants to buy a spacer so he can run the stock rims with the lift...id say like a 1.5inch spacer would do...maybe even an inch...

i pulled my stock wheel today and the backspacing on 2010 17,s is 5-1/8"
does any one know if all wheels need 4.5" backspacing or just if they are smaller than 17"

 

If they say 4.5" BS theres a reason for it.Just get the right spacers and be done with it.You might want to hurt something later if you think you can't get around the BS issue.

thank you for all the info and yes i plan on ordering 4 spacers. also i know its off topic but i figured i would ask here i see there are two shock options for the rear
Rear AAL/Shackle RS5325 15.0" 24.0"
Rear AAL/Shackle RS5190 15.825" 26.25"
im asuming both would work in my truck but the rs5190 would work for more lift than the rs5325 and with an add a leaf in addition to the rancho kit i would want to run the rs5190's, is that correct?
