sorry for another remote start question, but i promise this will be the last one.

so far i have everything wired up the way it should be (double and triple checked). and everytime i try to RS it, the cluster and all the lights and AC will come on, then it will shut off and do it two more times befor shuting of completly.

i dont think im getting "locked out" because right after it shuts down, im able to try again without waiting 15min like i hear some people have to.

their is only 5 wires coming out of the key cylinder and i have those wired right (you only cut one) and then the ignition wire from the starter to the bypass unit. but not to the truck because i cant find it. does anyone know where it is or what to bo from here??

these are the instrictions, its a PLJX bypass unit

I can help you, I wired in a remote start on mine, I am very good with wiring.

I think you don't have your tach signal hooked up or learned? Do you have the tach signal from the remote start unit "usually purple" hooked to pink injector wire or alt. wire or coil wire, for a tach signal?

Ounce hooked up you will need to star the truck the normal way, and follow your remote start instructions for learning the engine running/on/tach signal.

Without this it may attempt to start ie ignition, accessory , lights on dash, than off on again.

Also do you have the ground-out when running signal from the remote start unit hooked up to the bypass module??

also when it fails to start it should flash the lights or chirp a number of times indicating a fault code, count the flashes chirps, and look it up in your install manual.

let me know how you make out, if you need fast assistance, pm for my phone number, i'm off injured right now and bored, so i don't mind to help
