I have been researching buying a 2012 Crew Cab Colorado. I have hit ebay, CL and auto-buyer but, haven't found a lot on the used market. The few I have found used are asking near new prices. I figure if any member is thinking about unloading theirs, it might be worth a shot to post a WTB here. I would rather buy private party than from a stealership.

Crew Cab and V-8 are absolute requirements.

Chevy or GMC is fine w me. 2009-2012.

I would like a ZQ8, but would also consider 4x4.

I would like black, but would open to other colors.

I am willing to travel to pick up the correct truck. Most of my vehicles have been fly in, drive home deals. My preference in vehicles tend to be more common in southern states.

the used market is exactly how you described it, over priced, better off buying new if you want a 2012, if someone bought one and got rid of it already it could be because it has issues, if you don't want to pay the price for new (understandable) look for an older one with 30-50k mi

I wouldn't mind a 4x4 or even a 2wd Z85, but I was looking for a bit more stock. Aftermarket electronics and full repaint have me worried a little.

I communicated with the seller on this. Just for everyone else's knowledge, the rebuilt title means that there is no GM warranty even on this 2012 model. I might be willing to gamble on that, if the price was lower (like $15k), but the seller said $22k is bottom dollar.

I think I have narrowed my parameters to a V-8, crew-cab, ZQ8 (3LT). Preferably black.

I am still thinking a lot about ed-flip's truck. It is sweet! But, I may be better off with a more stock and closer example.
