i get 14.5 mpg with 33's and i ahve 4 wheel drive.

LOL. You also have to remember that all the gas in western wa is an ethanol blend. That affects economy. 04 CC Z71 4X4. I get 17 Highway. 13-15city, and the same towing. With 200# of sand around 14mpg mixed.

yes sir. Paul kinda went agressive with mine. I also have the 4:10s.

I dont know what I get, but its not good.. :shrug:

 

A.) It's a 4 cyl. It works harder than an I5, ALL the time.
B.) If it's a 5 speed, the driver has a huge influence on mileage.
C.) With those numbers, my guess is your foot's in it quite a bit.

I consistently get 21-22 mpg hwy, 17-19 city. No lie. I check it all the time.

 

no your right I have the 3.7l and im averaging over 15mpg in the city I also have a K&N intake 77 series which also helps a lil:shrug: but if you fuckers complain so much buy a fuckin prius that runs on strawberry juice!:fugrin:

Seriously.. You 20MPG guys live on a frictionless desert or what? I drive up and down hills daily so im assuming thats making the diffrence with this stupid lil 4cylinder ive got but anyone with 20 mpg livin in the mtns? Or somewhat mtns?

 

I live in Wisconsin. The mountains missed us......by a longshot.

 

Well I have hills not to terribly large but with 200 lbs in the bed for winter and 31's my scangauge says I average 15 and i get 12 with my foot in it

 

Mine got 15-17 in the city religiously.

was there a sale on sand recently? i am gettin about 17 uncorrected for my tire change. went from the 29's to 31's so im sure its a tiny bit off.

 

i drive city/highway with a lead foot but mostly highway and last tank i got 22.4 mpg. that is mostly flat ground.

I have the old i5,,ext.cab. And the zq8's...I get around 20 city...maybe on a good day with a strong tail wind 23 highway.. And I romp on it all the time??? There has got to be an issue if thats all your getting...but I do have to say, when i go to the mountains I do get around 14-18 but thats in a ext.cab as well so.. i would chech plugs, air filter, fuel filter..you know all the normal stuff. Hope you see what is wrong and get it fixed..
