i love my Borla it doesn't sound ricey at all.....don't listen to this CLOWN!!

 

They're not rice. Quite a few of us are running Borla and I have never thought of them as rice. They don't drone either.

I'm running the GM Performance Cat back exhaust which is made by Borla. I love mine.

DBNissan is running the Pro Xs and I think he has a vid of it.

 

lol this dude is still going on about exhaust... do you want a good sounding rumbling exhaust? get flowmaster. do you want a better performing good flowing muffler? get borla.

 

Much respect...but then again, everyone's definition of rice would be different. Listening to a vid would def be the way to go. Just depends on your taste.

 

The Pro Xs is quite on the 5 cylinder. She's got a crew cab too which means the muffler is further back. No fart can shit.

 

I want POWER!!! (evil laugh).

 

The Borla will flow very well. It's a S Type muffler which means it's a straight pipe with a slight bend in it to kill the noise.

This is unlike most Flowmasters which are chambered and do not flow nearly as well.

I also have this muffler and its what I wanted... different for the sounds and it does not sound ricey...

 

The Borla Pro XS is the best flowing, best sounding muffler out there. Low, Deep rumble at idle, yet barks when you jump on it. Nice and quiet at highway speeds with absolutly no drome. Definately not ricey. There are pics and video in my build thread.

Like I said in post #5, much respect Dan. I'm sure the vids you posted of your ride will be helpful to her. I wasn't baggin on anyone or calling names...there's no need for that. Just an opinion like we all have.

yeah i agree with Alex on this one. The Borla on his doesn't sound ricey. I was surprised it actually sounds pretty good :shrug:

Another one here with Borla performance catback (bought from GM) on my 2007 reg. cab Canyon I5 4x4 for 3 yrs. now. And yes the guy was just running his mouth. Its not ricey at all. And has a nice sound for a 5 cylinder engine.

 

Not running my mouth, my honest opinion...don't take it personal. i would have said the same thing about flowmaster.
