Carrier Bearing Help

About 4 months ago I replaced my center support bearing and u joints. I started getting a jumping/slapping feel and noise on acceleration to about 12-15 MPH about a month after. Well, I looked under the truck, and my carrier bearing is shot, AGAIN. Almost no rubber left. I have 3" spindles and 1 inch coil spacers and 3 inch shackles on the back. Does a shackle change the angle enough to wear the bearing out? The jumping drives me nuts. Have to fix it.

I need to replace the carrier bearing again. Do they sell one for a lifted truck? Thanks in advance.

You may need to adjust your pinion angle with shims to compensate for the lift.

I have read a few people cutting an inch off of the carrier bearing and welding it back to a new plate and reinstalling. My pinion angle looks ok, not too severe.

Post a pic of the angle, I'm curious to see what it looks like. Also check the warranty of the bearing, some companies offer warranties as long as you bring the defective one back.

You're angle is too steep on the second shaft back to the rear end. I did this once before I cuz my frame and welded a plate on the bottom to drop the bearing down about 2".
