ok...i decided im tired of having to get a running start to jump in the truck....so it was time to put on steps.

i wanted ninja steps and they dont make hideaways that will work on our setup so i did hoops.

and yes we had to go this far to mount them.

i know its easy to say now, but i really didnt like the way they looked anyway...just a bitch of a thing to happen for all that work.

now its time to do it all in reverse to get the mounts off the truck. :gd:

you have to display real tallent to fuck up like this...

He said he didn't like the look duh. He broke it so he had a reason to tell the old lady he was taking them off. Jeeze Josh get with the program. :lmao:

Oh snap! (pun intended)

I think they actually looked pretty good man. My coworker has a black Ford Expedition that has the hideaway step sides. Looks so fucking cool. I'd always wondered how much work and money it would take to convert over. Not about to be the guinea pig though.

Darek you gonna keep doing the running start? Or look into other steps?

I've been having a hard time finding reasonably priced steps for my truck, granted, it's not as tall as yours, but us sliding up into it now is going to wear the seats pretty bad, and I'd like to avoid that...

How much were these?

see now if you was still lowered you wouldnt have to jump in the truck lol!!!

Well as much as I would love to laugh....I won't. Sorry you did all that damn work for nothing.....Hope you figure out something else you like better.

Damn, and the other one went relatively smoothly for us not knowing what we were doing with it.

Hell it looks like the one that broke off just needed to be trimmed further down on the one side so it would clear the bump on the frame. If you would have trimmed another inch or two off the back edge, it would have coasted right by. Could always consider trying to get a replacement step and just recutting and remounting in the existing holes...

I personally like them, still don't see how they mess up the "lines" of the truck. Just get some fuckin black tubes and call it a day since you don't want to mess with whatever lines you are seeing haha.

im having the same prob... but i was thinking about getting ones for an ext cab so i can access the box from the side too.... i may have length issues tho....
