I was looking for a whole grill assembly that was already color matched black to my truck but couldn't find one that had the black (usually chrome) strip. So I decided to look on gmpartsdirect for just the grill clips since that's the only thing really wrong with mine. I came across this: picture attached.. Is this what I need? If so, I see there is two different ones. One piece or two piece? Does anyone know how many you get per order or is it $2.79 a piece? I'm sorry if this has already been posted.

Probably each. There's a lot of us who have broken all of our clips. I think I only have one or two holding. The metal clips that are around the lights hold it in more than the little plastic ones anyway.
Unless you're just OCD and like for them all to be there, which there's nothing wrong with. I just can't justify $3 for a little plastic clip.

Yeah, it does bother me that they aren't all there. $3 for a plastic clip is a little high though.
I would score some from a junkyard man. You could probably get all of them for like $5.

The one piece grilles are just that. The "strip" that you refer to will be an integral part of the grille. If that "strip" is removable from the grille on your truck, you have a two piece grille. I don't see any picture posted above. I think the part number that you are looking for is 15078238. They are sold on gmpartsdirect as "each". You don't say how many that you need. Keep in mind that gmpartsdirect will be charging $12.95 shipping/handling. If you only need a few it would be cheaper from a Dealer. If you need more than a few, there is a listing on Amazon for 15 clips for $16.99+$5.09 shipping. That comes out to less than $1.50 each. Before you order any clips, make sure that the plastic tabs on your grille, that the clips go on, are not broken off. That is a common problem.
On gmpartsdirect, you can put the item in the "cart". Then click on "cart" and it will show you the shipping and handling. Also should have the part number. Then if you don't want it just delete it from the cart. I think the lowest shipping/handling charge is $12.95. Before you put an item in the cart, the page you are on will show the Dealer (MSRP) price. Just calculate in the Florida tax. If you are in a hurry for parts, gmpartsdirect is not the best place to order from. They are sloooooow. There are a couple of other GM based websites that I have used. gmpartseast and gmpartsgiant.

I called the dealership here but it was too late Saturday. I'm gonna try again Wednesday. Or I can see if gmpartsdirect has a customer service number. I can call them to confirm if its each or a package deal. It sounds like it is each though

Okay, A bit of confusion here. The link to gmpartsdirect in the OP's post #2 is for the metal clips, hence the reference to PN 15078238 and the higher price. If you just need the plastic clips then the info Rich gave, PN 89045535, is, of course, correct. I don't recall how many of each is on my grille. Someone will know.
I believe there are 4 plastic clips, each on the top row of the grill, and 6 metal clips; 1 for each fog light, 1 for each headlight, and 2 near the center to the metal frame.
