alright mine i would appreciate that... im pretty sure i found a direct-replacement double-cardan drive shaft off another vehicle, to get rid of the cv-style drive shaft.
Thanks man, the driveshaft im looking to retrofit is 26.5" fully closed and aprox. 40" fully extended.
Its from a 2008 "Chevrolet/Isuzu Dmax"... the truck on which the Colorado is based on if im not mistaken. These have a very very similar drivetrain configuration, and they use the same transfer case we use... here is a picture of the driveshaft:
