I recently got a 2010 GM Canyon with the 5.3 V8 and Offroad package.Before I had it, they tinted the windows, put on some cheap AT tires and a new exhaust. I took the running boards off, put in the MTX Thuderform kit with 10" sub and 500W Thunderform Amp, a cool touchscreen stereo and some Marathon seat covers. After reading around on here, I replaced my spark plugs and Evap canister solenoid thing (P0446 code), cleaned the throttle body, oil change and topped off all of the other fluids. I've never done much maintenance on my vehicles before other than oil changes and chopping off the muffler on my old f150 as a teenager to make it louder so this was a big day for me.
I am looking to get it leveled and some black wheels to replace the 17" chrome deals that came on it. Any recommendations on wheels?
I am a full time charter fishing captain by trade and was living in the US Virgin Islands when the Hurricanes Irma and Maria came through and ruthlessly sodomized the islands. I am now in the FL Keys for the winter and spring before heading to Alaska to fish for the summer. I will be shipping this truck down to the USVI with me when I go back in the fall to replace a 2011 Dakota I had when I was down there before.
