my driveshaft still hit the cab brace even with angled blocks..notching the cab will do the trick...i had to do to mine when i did my last drop.

 

I don't have that problem yet......

Did you add blocks under the driveshaft support and the transmission support?

JTR made these 0.75" spacers align the drive shaft.

 

Isn't that just for the crew cab and it's carrier?

Btw, I did this notch on the yellow erg cab witjh no issues.

 

Oh yeah, he's got a single cab. my bad.

 

That and risers aren't going to help him much on clearance issues. :kiki:

 

alright added the shims under the blocks and notched the cab..

NO MORE GRINDING.

Now the only thing that hits is my pumpkin on the bed floor when I stomp the gas...lol

 

good to hear:thumbup:..and yeah, notching the bed brace is a must when you are this low.

I beat the piss out of mine with an air hammer that did it..

If I had the spring helpers off and did a hard launch it would hit the cab BAD

or if I had an equally fat person with me (darek) it would hit lol

i was thinking of goin 1 more inch in the back but i dont want to cut a hole in my bed...lol....well not yet

 

cut it. i cut mine, then i have a pc of alum sheet sitting over the hole for when the pumkin goes into the bed, kinda like a sunroof for ma pumkin, lol

 

When it's time to do mine I was just gonna leave my bed liner in so I still have a useable bed..

 

I already notched the bed brace but I have to cut a hole in the bed. I might cut it in the shape of a big vagina, paint the pumpkin pink and put fake hair around it

 

Ive cut the bed brace but haven't ever had to cut a hole in the bed :shrug:
