Greetings to all,
I have what might be a stupid question, but here goes. My truck is a 2005 Colorado Crew Cab. I have been having an issue with my lock on the drivers side handle. It basically will turn one way and lock the car, but will not unlock it. I was going to try and get the lock out, but I could not get the handle out of the door. That is for another post though. My issue now is, when I use the key fob to lock the doors, I notice the red Security light blinks when the doors are locked. It goes off when I unlock and start the truck, but I have never noticed it blinking when the truck is locked before. The first time I started it after fooling with it, it gave me a couple of beeps (like it does when one of the doors is open and I try and lock the truck with the key fob) the first time, but then I turned off the truck and turned it back on and all seems to be good.
I guess my question is, has this light always blinked and I just never noticed it? I sure hope so, but I just want to make sure. Any info would be much appreciated.
Thanks all,
Redrocker
