like the title says im relocating my tailgate handle not worried about the welding, just the body work not done much of it. any tips for the best results, got me a da sander some 80 120 and 400 grit sand paper,is it a good idea to get some bondo glaze and spot putty for the low spots or just sand till i get them out.
so im shaving my tailgate handle any tips

Lol hey if you have the cajones go for it. I've seen first hand several of these done on our trucks and the two biggest issues I've seen is keeping the factory bend just above the handle perfect and keeping the metal plate the same level as the rest of the skin so you don't have a hump.
You just gotta be ready for either outcome, perfection or an absolute mess.
Im just leery of guys on here that have auspicious goals and can't figure out how to get the hood up. Spend hours on youtube and forums for body work. There's enough info out there for you to do anything. All you gotta do is find it
