Supermod, I know you were looking into this already & I'm certain that by the looks of the 'fuse' portion of your kit you've taken care of this, but this set-up looks very familiar to the set-up a few people have used earlier that turned all the parking lights on (not just the markers) and potentially backfed the system.

Can you explain what you did to prevent this? Like I said, you've got some SMM (supermod magic) going on with the 'fuse' side of the kit, and I reckon that was to take care of the previous problems with this set-up.

Awesome -- yea, having another external relay under there sure makes it hard to get the fuse box on & off!

For all you guys who are running HIDs, this mod is a must have!

Ok how about taking the DTRL of an 2005 colly and use the LED's for DTRL instead of the parking lights on top? How to do that?

James installed his Day Time Running Light Mod on my truck yesterday at the Famous Dave's BBQ Meet. This mod converts daytime running lights from the headlights to the parking lights. Simple and elegant solution for the newer trucks when you want to run DRL with HID's.

This is a lot less bulkier than the relay set-up I had prior. Just remember to bend the assembly towards the passenger side after placing it in the front running lamps fuse spot. Otherwise you can't get the fuse box cover on because it's too tall for the beveled edge of the fuse box.

Totally cleaned up my fuse box!

I'm working on making the interface smaller. The older fuse box lids stood a little taller than the later models. So rev. 2 will be release today. All previous models can be retrofitted to Rev. 2 by shipping it back to me otherwise it will have the same electrical components but just smaller is size.

Finally got my kit installed, like hmmbagodden I had to bend it over a little, but not too bad. Still kind of a tight fit.

Loving it! Works great, and honestly looks cooler IMHO.

Haven't decided if I'm going to ship it back for the smaller one, yet. USPS keeps loosing things from SuperMod, which is getting annoying.
