Took the family to Tennessee this past weekend. Left Wednesday night and came back yesterday. 9 and a half hour drive. The dog behaved the best as always.

Here are some of the many photos:

This is my parents cabin in Pigeon Forge Tennessee:

This is the fence line in the back yard. My father loves the rustic look of it and wanted me to take some photos of it:

dude those pics are amazing!! The tiltshift ones look like little model houses. Can you do that on a D3000? Thats the camera Im thinking about getting

Thank you guys. :)

I am using a Canon T1i at the moment. I have thoroughly enjoyed this camera.

The Tiltshift photos are pseudo tiltshift, which means they were done in software. I use Corel Draw Graphics Suite 14 and Corel PaintShop Pro X3.

The D3000 should allow you to make pseuso tiltshift photos without any trouble as most any camera will allow for this. Their are tiltshift lense you can buy if you do not want to do them in software.

Ed you can drive up here anytime and I will gladly take some badass photos of your badass truck brother!;)

Those photos are amazing, you are talented! I love Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg...we are originally from Nashville, had to drive to Pigeon Forge to a get a last minute marriage license haha.

Hope you enjoyed your time there and had some good food and sweets! Did you do the ski lift? Too winter time is gorgeous there, it snowed once while i was there absolutely beautiful!

There are several places doing Zorb balls there now. Looks like great fun! Reminds me of my childhood rolling down hills in a 55 gallon drum. I couldn't squeeze into one now to save my life.

May have to try the Zorb balls sometime!

They also have the longest zip line in the US supposedly.

You've got some talent thats for sure. Great pictures. I have some pictures very similar to those from the chair lift there. Mine just don't look as good! sorry off topic but I wish I could go back, it was a fun place. I need to go back in one of the shops. They had the best pecan pie I've ever tasted!
