Nice.....Out looking for my friends dog the other night We came across 3 huge does. Obviously being protected had allowed them to get bigger than normal. So pissed I couldn't tag and bag.

The weather has been so messed up around here that's hurt the hunting. This is the first week that it's finally cold. I have a feeling December is gonna be a more productive month than usual just because we're only starting to get into the cold days. Hopefully I can get out there in the next couple weeks and fill my tag for the year.

Oh, and nice buck, man!

yea we have some huge deer here, but alot of them go into town so they get big cause they are corn feed...fine by me better eating, but i think its kinda cheating too

How's it different than sitting on a food plot?

I mean, yeah, it's "cheap" but it's all about baiting the deer in one form or another.

Not saying I would do it, cause that's the whole point of hunting to me. I don't need meat to survive, so it's all about the challenge.

well same with a food plot...either way ur baiting for them to come in....I have nothing against it, ive hunted like that more then once down on our property in Florida, but here its a completely different story, u have to hunt here, walk and walk up and down the hills, glassing every 100 yards or so.....i can see it both ways
