I keep getting this code (RANDOM MISFIRE CYLINDER 5)

I have changed plugs AND swapped the #5 coil pack.. I ONLY get the CEL for this when im driving long distances (over an hour usually)

Any ideas? I have a few people that thinks its just a brain fart between the 3.5 PCM and the 3.7 motor..

yeah it REALLY REALLY needs a tune

i really hope is a brain fart man, i get it on idle while in traffic but is always goes away....
yeah, plug or coil pack should have fixed mine..

swap your #4 coil pack and your #5 coil pack.. if it moves to a cylinder misfire on #4 then you know its a coil pack, otherwise check your plugs.. that SHOULD take care of yours..

mine who the fuck knows

its developed a slight knock between 1800 and 3k RPM

think its been overrevved or I was running too thin or oil for my driving habbits or whatever..

who knows..

trying to see if we can try putting new rod bearings in it.. ive been running THICK FUCKING OIL since it started.. sucks cause the thick THICK oil makes it feel lazy

yep..

and I refuse to put a V8 in this truck..

because the whole reason I bought the Colorado was to swap and build my S10 so it HAS to get done first lol

I keep thinking about pulling the 3.7 down and trying to build a N/A 3.7
