Doubt it, but it may affect attendance due to some guys saving money/vacation time for the USA SM

 

I can't say FOR SURE I can make it 2 years from now....but I'll def. try...I'll be looking out for the details

im deff. interested in gettin in on this, what i think would be great, is in the days before, chapters have meets, nec, sec, ect.... and then they all convo together to the us super meet.

 

This grand event will take place sometime in 2012, and the location will be some where in the middle of the good old USA.

Each region would have the option of having a Super Meet in 2011. This would give members on a limited budget over one year to save up and attend this event as well as modify their trucks

No it doesn't. Each region can still have a Super Meet, but James would like as many members to attend this event as possible.

You are correct James wants to give members over 1 year to save up so they can attend this event like I posted.:thumbup:

As I read that, regional coordinators are, for whatever reason, given the "option" to host an SM in their region in 2011. Why is it that they have to be given the option?

As it is written, this does not necessarily allow or exclude the "option" from the 2012 calendar year, but it suggests that 2012 will be a year solely reserved for the USASM.

Further, the above 2nd bolded line of text suggests that members be given over a year to save up for it, which could be read as an indication that from the end of the last regional SM of 2011 (should the regional coordinators choose to exercise their "option"), there would be no more SM's until the USASM, which lends itself to the assumption that no other SM's will occur in 2012.

Again, I'm not trying to pick a fight, I'm just explaining how I, and possibly others, could interpret the verbage used in the OP.

 

Skitz - First off sorry about the way I worded the post that created this thread. My goal was to give everyone the chance to attend this event and not feel like oh shit now I gotta plan to go to two Super meets in one year.
