Anyone else guilty of not doing it? I literally have not washed my truck since late summer, I think... and have probably only washed it two or three times in the 15 or so months that I've owned it. :ugh:

I want to go wash the salt off it now, but I'm afraid to wash it in these freezing cold temps...

I was mine but ALOT less. Usually she gets a bath every friday but in the winter its like once or twice a month.

yeah i have washed mine in 20 or 30 degree weather..

I fill the wash bucket inside with hot water and sometime go to the car wash and use their pressure washers and my warm-watered-wash bucket

I haven't pysically washed mine since like october either. I usually take it to the power wash as much as I can though to keep the salt, snow and ice off it, but alot of times it's too cold to even do that. The water freezes after like 20 seconds....

I use an automatic conveyor style carwash without spinning brushes in the winter and in the summer, I'll wash it myself more often than going to the carwash. The carwash also has a set of underspray nozzles to hit the undercarriage and remove that salt. It's always nice to do that before working on the truck in the winter to minimize the amount of nastys that drip down on you as you work.

I've washed mine three times. Once when I went home to Louisiana for Christmas - I did it myself, of course, and it was spotless.

But here in Kansas I live in an apartment, don't own a hose, and it's cold most of the time. So twice it's gone through the automated wash.

damn,,,I guess I'm the only fanatic here...I wash mine by hand at least two times a week...if I havent washed it in about a week...I start feeling like its dirty as hell! I grew up with old ass cars that were not worth the oil we put in them... Well, ever since my first car, I have always tried my best to make every car I own look its best. Keeping it clean is the easiest way of doing that for me. I dont have shyt piled inside...no coke cans or beer cans in the bed.. nothing, I just keep it as clean as I can....

Agreed, I know where your coming from!

Here its snowed the last 2 mondays, that following sunday I hand wash and hit it with some spray detailer wax. The last few weekends its been in the high 30s low 40s, warm enough for me to be out there washing it.

I washed / Waxed mine in 30 degree weather the other day, I power wash the frame, for salt reasons, and then I hand wash the body..

I usually turn on the outside water, if the water is moving, it wont freeze... then I quickly back the truck into the garage where there is 4 500W Work lights, that start melting the ice, and then I dry by hand

Its gonna be high 40's this week....

yeah, i dont vacuum as much as I should, but every sunday I get out there and wash it down really good, then wax it if i have the time. I just enjoy doing it.. and when it gets warmer i dunno, its like every chic in town has to put on a bikini and go wash there cars at this one damn car wash..I guess i'm the only guy in town with a pecker cause i swear I have only seen one other guy there. All these half nekid chickies and me...i should have mentioned before this is a big reason my truck stays so clean. Its even to the point I know their names and they ask what stuff is best and so forth..heaven I tell ya..I cant touch, but I can sure as hell dat dream...fell out of the boat doin that one time...long story short girl was bad as hell and her tit popped out of her bra while she was doing the hood of her truck.... yeah, it hurt. But it was well worth the look and oh are you ok??? lol

Took almost 3 minutes to get my breath back....

Tomorrow is supposed to be around 55 so I may take advantage of the day and clean my truck. Usually during the winter I dont keep up on cleaning. Maybe an exterior wash to get the salt off of it, but thats it.

As long as its touchless...I never ever use a brush man...those out big ass swirls in your paint!

i wash mine outside year round in new england. i go through the touchless wash to clean the underside like once a month clean the underside off. if i do that then i go home and wash it again by hand. when i do this in the winter i fill up my bucket with warm water from inside and rinse it with the hose. then i let it sit. it doesnt usually freeze on me though. then i dry it by hand
