Yes, it does, and I never used the light anyway, but I was just curious for full functionality's sake.

i never used it either. honestly i think its the most useless feature on a truck. i mean i can see how is useful but i NEVER once used it. every time i was putting something in the bed or taking it out there was always lights around

i may be looking for one of them there head light switches here shortly. mine decided the lights were gonna go out and according to the stealership those things are considered non-serviceable, so they don't sell the bulbs for them. sucks because i sweat ive seen them before..

It can be, but you can also modify the existing center console lid to mate to the H3 so you can keep teh top compartment. There's a How-To somewhere that RShadd did.

There's also a how-to or three around here for servicing/changing the lights on the switches. I think it's touched on in the "change your headlight switch bulb colors" How To.

Yes the board can be swapped out.

On the back side of the switch there is 5 screws, unscrew them and swap....BAM done!

Well as of last night there was 2 of them on eBay.

The one I got was 34.99 or best offer w/ $6 shipping. So I offered 29 plus shipping to make it 35 even....and it was in like new condition too.

All the ones I have seen range from 29-39, plus shipping
